We are inspired by the belief that people are more than capable of changing things for the better, and through creating Eden we’ve learnt what ingenuity, resourcefulness, hope and determination can do.

Eden Project Communities
We believe that the more connected we are, the more we can do together.
Through our flagship campaign The Big Lunch, we aim to help create safer, friendlier communities where people share more – from conversations and ideas to skills and resources. We encourage connection and help people build the skills, tools and confidence to start or grow local projects.
Our Community Action programme is for anyone interested in making a difference in their community, and runs online at various points throughout the year.
We also run regular events where you can meet others, receive support and advice and be part of something bigger.

Nature Connections
We believe that people should be connected to nature.
Over the last 25 years, we have developed extensive expertise in nature recovery and social prescribing. Our Nature Connections programme uses nature-based activities to boost health, wellbeing and learning.
Part of our three-year Nature: Connections and Recovery partnership programme, our flagship Greentime17 campaign focuses on how much of our time surrounded by screens, schedules and everyday pressures. The campaign is a simple invitation to spend 17 minutes a day in nature – wherever you are, whatever the weather, and however you like to do it.

Education is at the heart of everything we do. We want to give all children and young people a day in nature’s classroom, to spark their curiosity and discover their power to protect our planet.
Every child in today’s world will face some of the most complex global challenges imaginable during their lifetimes. Climate change, biodiversity loss, food insecurity, and social inequality are no longer abstract ideas — they are urgent realities that demand a new kind of thinking, leadership, and connection.
Our education programmes are designed to equip young people with a deep understanding of our interdpendence with the natural world, and the skills, agency and optimism to shape a future where both people and planet can thrive.
