FAQs
We highly recommend that all skaters pre-book online, particularly at weekends and during school holidays to avoid disappointment.
If there is space still available on the day, you can purchase tickets either online or in the Visitor Centre at ticketing.
Skate sizes start at child's size 8 (EU 25) and go up to adult's size 15 (EU 50).
We offer bob skates for toddlers in child's sizes 5-10 which fit over shoes. However, for smaller sizes in particular, suitability depends on the style of the shoe.
Socks must be worn with skates and we do advise that an extra pair of socks is worn for comfort.
We highly recommend that all skating aids are pre-booked online, particularly at weekends and during school holidays to avoid disappointment. You will get the option to add skating aids during the booking process, if they are available.
For our penguin aids, the user needs to be able to walk and reach the handle; the maximum height for use is 120cm (approx. 3’11”) without skates on.
Our snowmen aids are exclusively for those who are taller than the 120cm height permitted for penguins, or for those with accessible needs.
Please note, there are no refunds or part-refunds if a skating aid is not used or is only used for part of the session. Bookings are non-refundable. If the skating aid/s are not collected within 20 minutes of the start of the session, we reserve the right to make them available for resale and the reservation will be lost.
Children aged 14 years and over do not need to be accompanied.
Children aged 8-13 years must have a parent or guardian available either on the ice or around the rink.
Children aged 7 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the ice, except during skating lessons. We advise 1-on-1 supervision for children less than 5 years of age.
Yes, we welcome manual wheelchairs with an accompanying personal assistant on our ice rink. Please ring our Box Office on 01726 811972 (Mon – Fri: 9.30am – 4.30pm; Sat – Sun: 10am – 2pm) or email guestservices@edenproject.com to make a booking.
The Ice Rink Café will be open during local school holidays, and on the days our Christmas Lights Experience is on, serving hot food, as well as delicious cakes and beverages. Find out more about food and drink at Eden here.
Don’t forget to bring a reusable cup with you and we'll give you 30p off your hot drink. We do not provide single-use cups, but you can borrow one of our reusable cups for a refundable deposit of £2.50.
