Buying this Experience as a gift
Purchase the Experience as a gift using the button above. You will then receive a booking confirmation email, as well as an email that contains an e-voucher with a code. Forward the e-voucher to the recipient, or print it out to give to them, as this contains a unique code which they can use to book their Experience on a date of their choice.

How to redeem an e-voucher

You must redeem this gift within 12 months. We only release dates for this Experience several months in advance, so please contact premiumexperiences@edenproject.com if you are looking to book a date beyond those available online.
It is essential that you wear sturdy, closed-toe, flat shoes or boots with good grip. Make sure your clothing is suitable for gardening and come prepared to get muddy. We'd recommend shorts on a sunny day especially in the summer as it is hot and dry in the Mediterranean Biome. Don't forget suncream and a hat in hot weather. We'd also recommend layers and a waterproof coat, as you may spend some time in our Outdoor Gardens and the Cornish weather can be a little unpredictable!
This Premium Horticulture Experience starts promptly at 9.30am and finishes at 3.30pm.
We recommend you allow at least 15 minutes to walk from our car parks to our ticketing hall in the Visitor Centre. On some dates, the Experience begins before we open to the public, but on arrival, you will be welcomed by our friendly team.
At the end of the Experience you are free to explore the rest of Eden at your leisure until we close. Check our opening times.
Accessibility
This Experience is accessible to all aged 16 and over, but please be aware that some of the activities during the day will require a reasonable level of fitness, agility and dexterity as you will be using tools and taking part in gardening for part of the day, which could involve traversing steep slopes with uneven ground.
This experience is accessible for wheelchairs and those with restricted movement. If you are a wheelchair user or have other medical or accessibility needs, or are pregnant, please contact premiumexperiences@edenproject.com ahead of booking, so we can make sure we are prepared and can deliver the best possible experience for you.

Personal assistants
If personal assistance is required for any participant, we welcome support guests. The support guest must be pre-booked and costs £50, which covers the complimentary gift pack, lunch and refreshments, as well as full participation in all the activities during the Experience.
Other useful information
You will spend a large part of the day in the Mediterranean Biome, which can reach around 25˚C on sunny days.
Please be aware that the Mediterranean Biome has a high pollen count and contains several plants that produce irritant hairs or allergenic compounds which may cause skin irritation or other allergic reactions.
Due to the length of the Experience as well as the activities, tools and style of the content covered, only teenagers aged 16 and over can take part.
Any participants aged 16–17 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking part in the Experience.
Our other Premium Experiences are suitable for children aged 11+. However, if you would like a custom Premium Experience suitable for younger children, this is something we may be able to facilitate – please email premiumexperiences@edenproject.com to discuss this with us.
You will stop for a complimentary hot or cold drink mid morning, and have access to water all day.
For lunch we will prepare a delicious packed lunch for you, made using fresh ingredients, and you will be able to choose from a variety of different options.
We cater for vegetarians, vegans, meat-eaters, gluten-free diets, and those with other dietary requirements, but please make us aware of any dietary requirements and/or allergies prior to the event by contacting premiumexperiences@edenproject.com.
As part of this Experience, you'll receive some sustainable gifts including an Eden tote bag, an Eden-grown plant, gardening gloves, a sustainable water bottle and one Eden guide book per booking.
Yes, this Experience must be booking online at least seven days in advance.
This Premium Experience can be booked by up-to four people (aged 16 and over) per day. If there are less than four of you in your group, you will need to book all four slots to have it as a private experience.
Our Premium Horticulture Experience involves hands-on work using an assortment of tools (such as secateurs, knives, microscopes and trowels, hand forks, rakes, hoes, brushes, fertiliser, bamboo canes, string, stakes, hoses and watering cans) including those with sharp edges and blades. This Experience may also involve traversing or working on steep slopes.
