Cornwall Christmas Fair

Cornwall Christmas Fair

Cornwall's most vibrant Christmas fair is returning to the Eden Project on 27 and 28 November 2024, raising funds for Cornwall Community Foundation

A ticket is required to attend the Fair – these tickets sell out fast, must be purchased in advance, and will be available from 9 September on the Cornwall Christmas Fair website

Entry to the Eden Project is free for all Cornwall Christmas Fair ticket holders attending on Thursday 28 November.

Please note, although the fair is hosted at the Eden Project, it is not an Eden-run event. Therefore, having an Eden Project admission ticket on 27 or 28 November 2024 does not allow entry to the fair. You must purchase a Cornwall Christmas Fair ticket to gain entry and booking will open soon.

Christmas shopping

With up-to 70 independent stalls from within Cornwall and beyond, the annual Cornwall Christmas Fair, hosted in the sparkling surroundings of the Eden Project, is the perfect start to the festive season.

The fair features an abundance of gifts and home accessories, clothing and jewellery, and an array of the finest produce in the Food Hall. It's perfect for picking up Christmas treats, stocking fillers and local gifts.

Each year the fair happens over two days:

  • Preview and shopping evening (27 November 2024), where you can enjoy wine and delicious supper alongside your pick of Christmas shopping
    Time: 5pm-9pm
Tickets: pre-booking will open on 9 September on the Cornwall Christmas Fair website – there will be no tickets available on the door

  • Christmas Fair (28 November 2024), where you can make a head-start on your Christmas shopping, and enjoy some time in the beautiful Biomes in between your browsing. Please note, the fair takes place in the Link Building.
    Time: 10am-4pm
Tickets: pre-booking will open on 9 September on the Cornwall Christmas Fair website – there will be no tickets available on the door

The fair takes place in the Biome Kitchen – Eden's main restaurant between the Biomes. Therefore, this food venue will not be serving food on 27 and 28 November 2024, and this space will only be accessible to Cornwall Christmas Fair ticket holders. The Med Terrace, in the Mediterranean Biome, will also only be accessible to fair ticket holders on 28 November. However, other cafés serving light lunches, drinks and snacks will be open at Eden on those days and serving all visitors.

Raising money for the community

Since its inception, the fair has raised over £1 million for Cornwall’s charities and in 2023 the Fair raised £79,500. This year's event will be raising funds for Cornwall Community Foundation, as it plays a crucial role in supporting vulnerable Cornish communities.

Organised by a team of volunteers, the fair is the ultimate Cornish Christmas shopping experience, with all proceeds (including a percentage of profits from stallholders) going to support Cornwall’s struggling communities through the Cornwall Community Foundation.

We open our doors to all fair-goers for free on the day, and all funds collected from tickets will go straight to the Cornwall Community Foundation.

This is in addition to the kind support from a number of business sponsors from across Cornwall.

Can't make it but would like to support Cornwall Community Foundation? Take a look at their website for more details.

As well as the Eden Project, the 2024 Cornwall Christmas Fair is being sponsored by The Cornwall Bakery, Rodda’s, Lillicrap Chilcott, Wildanet, Eveyln Partners, Seasalt Cornwall, Stacks Property Search, Porthilly Spirit, Baker Tom, Coodes, Impress51, St Austell Printing Company, Wild Card, Trevornick, Jarrang, St Austell Brewery, Truro High School and The Old Ship Hotel.
