Eden Project's Mission
We demonstrate and inspire positive action for the planet.
As a growing movement of global citizens, we reconnect people with nature, we demonstrate and communicate positive change, and we inspire advocates of action.
Earth provides us with fresh air, clean water, rich biodiversity and a stable climate. We believe that the planetary emergency issues are all symptoms of the same problem: we have broken our relationship with the natural world. That’s why the Eden Project are working with, for and as part of nature to repair this relationship by demonstrating and inspiring positive action for the planet.
The future remains ours to make. Healthy planet, healthy people.
We aim to get things done in three main ways:
We respect the natural world and demonstrate that people are part of ‒ not apart from ‒ nature
We protect wild places and enable them to thrive
We repair damaged spaces that need to be fixed

Our origins
Twenty years ago, Eden Cornwall was a sterile clay pit; today it is a living landscape full of life. See where we've come from, how we've grown, and where we're going next.
Our projects
Our growing range of projects, from local to global, aim to transform place and lives, stimulating, educating and empowering.
