Canary Wharf Group partnership

The unique and groundbreaking partnership will tackle the challenge of biodiversity in Canary Wharf and allow us to establish a London base.

Biodiversity in a dense urban environment
As part of the partnership, a green spine through the middle of the Canary Wharf estate with additional green public realm, parks and gardens, access to water space, new bridges, boardwalks and floating pontoons will be progressed. It will animate the docks with new spaces for arts and culture, and for water sports such as paddle-boarding, open water swimming and kayaking.
The ambition for the partnership is to support the estate in becoming a global example of best practice and innovation on biodiversity in a dense urban environment, to live and work in harmony with nature. Through this collaboration, the partners will be able to share what they learn through their actions at Canary Wharf to help other urban developments’ work for nature as well as people.
Quote Shobi Khan, CEO, Canary Wharf Group
